Creatine is a substance that is naturally produced in the human body, mainly in the liver and kidneys, and is also found in some foods like meat and fish. It plays a key role in providing energy for muscles during high-intensity exercise and is often used as a dietary supplement to enhance athletic performance.

When you take a Creatine supplement, it increases the amount of Creatine stored in your muscles, which can improve strength, power, and endurance during short-term, high-intensity activities. It also helps to reduce muscle damage and fatigue, allowing you to work out longer and recover faster.

Creatine is one of the most well-researched supplements in sports nutrition, and numerous studies have shown that it is safe and effective when used as directed.

In terms of dosing, most people take 5 grams of Creatine monohydrate per day, either by mixing it with water or adding it to a protein shake. Some people choose to do a "loading phase" for the first week, where they take 20 grams per day to quickly increase the amount of Creatine in their muscles, but this is not necessary and can cause some stomach discomfort.

Overall, Creatine can be a valuable addition to your supplement regimen if you're looking to improve your athletic performance or recover more quickly from high-intensity exercise.
